Education Program

TVMC enhances accessibility, inclusive quality education across the life cycle from childhood to young adulthood. We work with government and partners to strengthen national education system, remote safe and equitable learning environments, and enable vulnerable children and youth opportunities to learn and thrive. We engage caregivers, schools and communities to deliver early childhood development, life skills and leadership program especially for girls, adolescent and youth with dis abilities.

What We Do

  • Promote access to quality early childhood Development (ECD) Service and parenting education. TVMC draws on the nurturing care framework to enable access to quality ECD Services and parenting education for children ages 0 -10
  • Support formal and informal education systems. TVMC support school enrollment and re – enrollment among primary and secondary students and promotes child protection and safety
  • Provide life skills and leadership training & opportunities. We tailor programming by age, gender and specific needs to support children and youth aged 9-24 in achieving their goals both in and out of school
  • Promote inclusive education. TVMC established a resource centers for Adolescent Vocational training

OUR IMPACT

  • 8560 Children reached through program of ending child marriage and sexual reproductive health right and provision of scholastic materials
  • 1234 parents/ caregivers reached in parenting education and family budget
  • 4- TVMC tailoring resource center established and 380 Adolescent girls benefited through resource center
  • 180 Adolescent mothers re- enrolled in formal education
  • 7230 adolescent girls and boys trained in livelihoods skills
