TVMC is a youth-led, non-governmental, non-partisan, and non-profit organization. The organization was founded in 2011 by a group of youth volunteers with a vision to create a society that respects the rights of children and women. The organization was officially registered as "The Voice of Marginalized Community" in 2014 by the Ministry of Community Development, Gender and Children. TVMC operates under the supervision of a board of directors
TVMC utilizes a community-based approach to ensure well-strengthened and engaging systems for the protection of children, youth, and women. We use trained staff, volunteers, and work with government officials to implement physical, educational, and cultural enrichment activities. We also use community meetings, educational materials, media campaigns, and legal aid services. Our programs are designed to create a strong voice for young people to actively demand their human and legal rights through a solutions-focused approach.
